Our team of design engineers are capable of designing complex steel connections per AISC (ASD & LRFD) and CISC standards

Welding Engineering
Steel Dimensions facilitate the process of certification of structural steel fabricators and erectors to various divisions of CWB under the CSA standard W47.1
Steel Dimensions provides retained engineer services for CSA standard W47.1 division 2 companies
Our engineers can prepare welding procedure specifications (WPS) and data sheets (WPDS), needed for the certification of steel fabricators and erectors. For processes and welding joints that are not pre-approved, we prepare and supervise procedure qualification reports (PQR)
Estimation & Material Take Off
A good and accurate estimate is crucial to competitively bid and win major projects; hence we consider material take-off as the most important part of the business
We provide material Takeoff in Excel format segregated per customer requirement with 3D models and snaps showing complexity of the project to ease bidding
We have completed over 500 material take-off projects including larger projects in Manhattan
Our Estimation team consists of engineers who have sound knowledge in structural steel detailing to provide material take-off services for the purpose of bidding projects
Our team uses 3D Software like Tekla or SDS/2 to process material take-off, which helps to generate multiple reports based on shapes, profiles, finish & grade per customer requirements which in turn saves time and produces reliable material takeoff
